New Member Brunches - quarterly get-togethers for new and existing members Playgroups join moms with kids the same age as yours (from birth to kindergarten) for play-dates, field-trips, luncheons, etc. Activities within play-groups are limited only by the imagination of its members PM Playgroups a late afternoon playgroup for kids of all ages and a great outlet for moms who work during the day Moms Night Out sometimes a girl has to get out and have some fun, so this group is devoted to ladies only outings to local restaurants, shops, events, etc. Crafty Ladies get-togethers for moms who like to do various crafts ranging from ceramic painting to scrapbooking Book Club monthly get-togethers to discuss a book chosen by a book club member Meals for Moms volunteer moms that make and deliver meals to moms in crisis or who have recently delivered babies Helping Hands Committee a caring group of ladies that rally members to help moms in crisis Recipe Share an online subgroup where moms can post their favorite recipes and share meal ideas Health and Fitness - An online subgroup to share ideas about health and fitness. Whether you're a fitness junkie or a beginner, this group will help us make the time to take care of ourselves. Share information on eating right, how you stay motivated, and how to fit exercise into your day! Green Living - An online subgroup to share tips on how to start being "green" and share advice on everything from earth-friendly home products to how to start composting. Join in to share what you help to do to make the Earth a better place! Community Living - This online subgroup will allow a place for us to share the local happenings in our community. The City Council and School Board Meetings will be posted here along with other fun events for the whole family. In addition to these on-going activities, every year there is a community service project, and seasonal parties for members and their families typically themed around Spring/Summer and Fall/Harvest. |
